Quinn and Tim's Beloved Farm Wedding- Cambridge New York

When Tim and I first got engaged in December 2019, we envisioned our wedding to be a large gathering of 140 of our closest friends and family. Little did we know that, just three days after I said yes to the dress, COVID-19 would shut the whole world down. This made it incredibly difficult to pin down the details of the day, but we had the basics down pat: Quinn's childhood church and priest for the ceremony (Father Condon at Holy Cross, Salem, NY); a beautiful Dutch post and beam reception barn in the country (Beloved Farm, Cambridge NY); a wonderful photographer who made us laugh throughout our whole engagement shoot (Aldridge Photography, Saratoga Springs, NY); a caterer with a track record of making wedding celebrations memorable (Nicole's Special Events & Catering); and a highly organized, helpful, and fun wedding planner to bring the whole vision to life (A Lively Event).

Love was going to win no matter what and Tim and I were lucky enough to have vendors who were on board with our crazy plans! One seriously limited ceremony (only 37 people were allowed in the church) and three receptions (with the 50 person limit) later, we were hitched. It was tough not being able to dance, but we ate, drank, and were merry nonetheless. The love shared between Tim and I, and the love we felt from our families, can be seen in all of the rich, vibrant photographs that Aldridge Photography took of the day. It's almost like she captured the feelings and sealed them right into the images; we get to feel all the positivity of that day all over again when we flip through our wedding album!

Francine and David's Rustic Adirondack Wedding on the Water

“Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. Looking at the pictures, it looks like a fantasy, but it was real. We were blessed by the pristine beauty and lush landscape of the Adirondack mountains in the heart of Summer. The timing of that day couldn't have been more perfect. The clouds created cover and color; the harp's dancing notes echoed in the ethereal woods; it rained as soon as the ceremony finished and people were in; and the passing downpour added hues and filtered the air in ways I had never seen before. Perhaps that's why the immediate moment is called the present. If we just breathe and be still, there are so many presents, and David and I were abundantly showered with gifts that day.”

Drew and Kate's Engagement Photos, Saratoga Springs

There are few things more amazing in life then watching your friends fall in love, and being able to capture those precious moments for them. I have been lucky enough to know Kate since college, our lives have been running parallel to each other ever since. Watching her with Drew, watching their love, sincerity, and kindness during these photos was incredible. This was supposed to be their wedding day, this was supposed to be the moment in their story when they said “I do”, this was months in planning. Like most plans this year, they had to be changed, reworked and adapted. Instead of a wedding, we spent the day celebrating their love at Hamlet and Ghost and Spa State Park for some epic engagement photos in Saratoga Springs, NY. These two took it in stride, hand in hand, wrapped in one another arms, and I am so lucky and humbled to be here for it.

Find someone who makes you laugh, on your wedding day, and everyday. Love is never canceled.

Michaela & Alex, Wedding Barn at Lakota's Farm, Cambridge NY Wedding Photographer

Some couples project their love; it’s infectious. You feel it when you’re around them. It’s as if someone slips rose-covered glasses over your eyes. Their happiness becomes your happiness. This is what it’s like to be around Michaela and Alex.

These two lovebirds wed on September 1st, 2018 on the 36 rolling and pastoral acres of the historic Lakota’s Farm in Cambridge, NY. Adorned with rustic and homey accents creating a familial and warm space against the dreamy backdrop of exposed wooden beams and twinkling fairy lights. Even the horses caught the celebration fever; grazing and enjoying the sweltering late-summer heat that precurses the onset of autumn in Upstate NY.

A tender and heartfelt ceremony officiated by the Groom's Aunt left everyone in the mood to eat, drink, and be merry. The champagne popping and flowing; smiles and excitement in every face. The joining of two people culminating into a joyous barn bash complete with a sputtering sparkler send-off for the newlyweds.

Congratulations Michaela and Alex may your life together always be full of love and celebration!

Julia and Luca, Old Daley on Crooked Lake Wedding, Averill Park Wedding Photographer

There’s something about a hot summer night that has a timeless romantic quality to it - it’s how your skin can flush warm with the memory of loved ones near you, or how your feet remember the happy tiredness of dancing the night away and then the cool relief of dipping your heels into a lake under a starry sky. Summer nights are full of the last bit of golden sunlight lingering on the water or the fresh froth of beer spilling from a newly cracked can. It’s a feeling you can come back to at the simplest reminder - a warm breeze whispering in your ear, the smell of fresh grass, or maybe just the sight of a llama.

Julia and Luca said “I do” at St. Pius X in Loudonville surrounded by friends and family, and they celebrated the occasion at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. Old Daley is a beautiful historic venue with a hand-laid stone fireplace and fieldstone walls and a 1940s ballroom. This is where Julia’s grandparents were married, and it’s a place that will be forever special to the next generation: at one point Julia danced with her son Jude to The Beatles’ “Hey Jude” and then Luca joined the dance. And as the DJ cranked up the tunes for a happy crowd the newlyweds cracked open fresh cans of craft beer - Heady Topper, of course, for those who are in the know.

But even summer nights can’t last forever; eventually the llamas left and the dance crowd thinned. Even so, the heat of the day clung to the twilight while the newlyweds slipped away from the party to wade into the cool lake and have one final kiss under the starry sky. And this, I know, is how friends and family will remember this day: the love of the couple, the nearness of family and friends, the llamas, the craft beer, and the long summer day giving way to stars twinkling over the lakeshore.

Congratulations, Julia and Luca!

Courtney and Matt's Saratoga Springs engagement photographer

If laughter is joy flowing over then these two are just bursting with joy, because at this recent engagement session with Courtney and Matt the park was ringing with their laughter! Every moment with them fueled more joyful moments, from throwing back heads with laughter to chuckles at nose tickles. I swear, Courtney and Matt are even grinning when they kiss!

Saratoga Spa State Park was the perfect setting for them too: Matt had asked Courtney to marry him on a hike to Shelving Rock Falls. They met up with Courtney’s friend Amanda to start the hike and paused for a while to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake George before circling back to the waterfall. That’s where Matt surprised Courtney by getting down on one knee - but the surprise didn’t end there! Courtney’s sister Jenny and her mom Wendy were hiding behind boulders to take pictures of the proposal. Of course Courtney said yes, and so here we are today celebrating their love!

I was thrilled to get out on a beautiful June day with these two to capture all that love: you can’t help but be happy for them when you see how they look at each other like they’re the only two people in the world. It was such a joy to capture all this happiness, and I’m looking forward to their wedding this September!

Jeanne & Dan - Lake George NY, Inn at Erlowest Wedding

Dan and Jeanne met while working at a Sports Bar in downtown Saratoga Springs. The business had opened in the beginning of 2011 with Dan being one of the managers. At the time, Jeanne was working across the street at a pizza shop and wanted to get into bartending so she decided to apply at the bar. Mutual friends say that from the first day they worked together, Dan had said that Jeanne was going to be the girl he married...

Fast forward 6 years and the two of them where married on the most beautiful September day in Saratoga Springs New York. They went on to celebrate a fabulous reception with friends, family and a very special band in Lake George NY.

Chelsea & Perry- Boston Engagement Photo Session

I had so much fun hanging out in Boston with Chelsea and Perry this fall. There where so many great spots we planned on going to, and some little gems we found along the way. Even though it was insanely cold on the day we decided on for their engagement session (we are talking windshield in the single digits here) these two were a blast to work with. Oh, and they went to school and met at my alma mater (How cool is that!) I am so excited to be photographing their wedding this Fall at Saratoga National.

"For our engagement shoot, we went back and forth on where we wanted to do the photos, mountains....beach......city. Then we said why not Boston, our home. The place we got our first apartment together, got engaged (well, came back from Block Island and continued engagement celebrations with our families), got our cat!
The day came and man was it COLD. We bundled up in our jackets and off we went. Hitting key Boston locations (Beacon Hill, the commons, Comm Ave) we got to be tourists in our city for a few hours while trying to keep each other warm."- Chelsea

Chelsey and Mike- Spa State Park Photo session

These two are engaged... Finally!

Okay, full disclosure here, I took these photos of Chelsey & Mike almost a year ago. I love playing with my camera in the snow (seriously, its beautiful and far too under appreciated when it snows!) So once I heard we would be getting 12+ inches I recruited my lovely and brave friends to come out in the snow and play with me and my camera in Spa State Park. They where troopers, (I mean, look at all that snow) and instead of complaining they just laughed and kissed, snuggled and kissed some more.

So without further ado, I give you the soon to be Mr. & Mrs!

Now would be a good time to mention that these two met while working at Starbucks!

Seriously, look how much fun they have together! Heres to love, laughter and Happily Ever After! Congrats you two!!
